Kilin recently graduated from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania with a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) with a minor in Asian American studies. He also studied abroad at Oxford, where he researched sanitation challenges — specifically open defecation — and their public health impacts. Before that, Kilin spent time analyzing reproductive health outcomes at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, supported USAID strategy aimed at preventing lead exposure, and consulted for an international children’s charity on strategies to reduce malnutrition and infant mortality.

Outside of work, Kilin is an avid runner and outdoors enthusiast, a Go player (the ancient Chinese board game), and calisthenics rookie. He is also an advocate for voting and loves engaging in high-stakes public speaking competitions.
