Amalhin is a public health and international development strategist with over 10 years of experience advancing pandemic preparedness, climate resilience, and health system strengthening for public sector clients across Latin America, Africa, Asia, Europe, and the U.S. A Washington, D.C. native, she brings deep expertise at the intersections of global health security, humanitarian response, and climate.
Prior to joining Camber, she served as a Manager in Deloitte Consulting’s Strategy and Transactions practice, leading health system reform and health security programs across multiple geopolitical contexts and consulted with the World Bank. Before Deloitte, she oversaw USAID’s regional malaria elimination program in Latin America and the Caribbean and drove resource allocation, program strategy, and partner coordination for the agency’s Global Health Security portfolio. She began her career in community health and participatory research, leading medical outreach and environmental health programs in the Dominican Republic.
Amalhin holds an MPH in Global Environmental Health from George Washington University and a BS in Public Health from the College of William and Mary. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and is fluent in Spanish. Outside of work she is happiest when gardening, kayaking, and enjoying live music.
