Jalang Conteh is a public health professional committed to advancing justice and equity through social change in service of women, children, and communities. She has nine years of experience in global health, including philanthropy, research, community-based advocacy, and program planning and implementation.
Prior to joining Camber, Jalang was a Program Research Analyst and a Consultant for the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, providing support for the Sub-Saharan Africa and global reproductive health and gender equity focused strategy. Jalang earned an MPH concentrated in Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health from The University of California at Berkeley where she was a Mastercard Foundation Scholar. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and minors in Global Health and Women and Gender Studies from Michigan State University.
In her free time, Jalang enjoys reading African feminist literature.
