Dr. Chidiebere’s work focuses on Climate & Environment and spans a range of interconnected issues, including climate adaptation and mitigation, energy access, agriculture and food security, health systems resilience, migration, and inclusive economic and rural development.
Prior to joining Camber Collective, Chidiebere spent over a decade working across the climate, environment, and global development space, partnering with public and private institutions across Africa and Europe. He designed and supported strategies, investment approaches, and delivery models to help organizations expand climate and environmental programs into new markets and regions, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, local context, and long-term impact.
Since joining Camber, Chidiebere has continued to work closely with foundations, multilateral institutions, governments, and private-sector actors, including Gavi, WHO, UNICEF, the World Bank/IFC, the Gates Foundation, GIZ, AIIB, AFDB, and the African Union, to support strategy development, mobilize financing, and deliver results across a diverse set of geographies and sectors. A solutions- and results-oriented practitioner, Chidiebere is particularly interested in sustainability approaches that optimize both natural and human systems to create short- and long-term value at scale. His experience cuts across agriculture, food security, healthcare, migration, waste management, climate education, energy access, gender, and just transition, with a consistent focus on equity and locally grounded implementation.
Chidiebere holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Business Information Systems, focused on sustainable development in developing countries. He also holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management, as well as BSc degrees in Industrial & Systems Engineering and Computer Science. Outside of work, he enjoys reading and discussing cross-continental development issues, staying active through sports, and taking time to recharge.
